Elemental Re-Set — Portland, OR

The artist invites audiences to an immersive multisensory-multimedia installation of visual narrative that unfolds through striking images of the artist’s imagination ranging from a Mystical Blue Water Woman, Air Twins, redwood forest Trillium Woman and a Dragon Woman scaling bridges and walls amidst the ruins of a burnt out Portland factory. The installation also includes hand painted “upcycled” clothing, and fiber art Tapestries created with societies discarded remnants”. Also on display will be projections and original short films with original music providing a sensory exploration of each elemental theme of EARTH, AIR, FIRE, and WATER.

“This exhibit will provide an opportunity for visitors to reflect on our earth and its chances for renewal. I hope people can see the transformation that is possible in the literal sense by using everyday discarded items and also appreciate the sometimes chaotic beauty of creation,” said artist Ariel Bittner. My vision is to create a space where the boundaries between art, nature and soundscapes blur for a contemplative and transformative experience”.

The installation is free and open to the public February 2025 at the Lloyd Center - the space is on the first floor in the former DMV office near Marshall’s Store.
